This was an event held by the Emmanuel Episcopal Church who was working with Family Promise of Hawai'i. Family Promise helps homeless families transition from sustainable independence. Families are provided with pleasant accommodations and meals prepared by volunteers.
I was so glad that I got to help out with Chocolate Extravaganza again. However, due to Hawaii's heat and humidity, it was challenging to create a chocolate cake that had to be left outside for several hours. Therefore, I went a safer route and donated a cake certificate for the Silent Auction instead. The lady who bought the cake certificate requested for a one tier square pink cake with buttercream roses and a happy birthday topper.
